There are several expert-written, impartial guides free to download, with more being added all the time.
We also recommend you take our free legal advice to plot a safe road-map to ownership - buying property abroad is often dissimilar to the process in the UK.
Where we have encountered buyer issues, this is often when buyers have taken miss-steps, obligating themselves to a course of action before fully understanding the implications of their decisions.

2. Inspiration, Savings & Offers
We are not just here to help safeguard the buying & owning of your foreign property. We will also bring you inspiration, savings & offers to enhance the use of your property both at home and 'away'. We launched this website in April 2018 and are currently working with a number of partners, behind the scenes, to bring you some cracking ideas & offers on a regular basis from trusted and recommended companies including Morgages, Currency Providers and Tax and Wealth Management. Those joining the Alliance in our launch phase will also be offered a free 12 month membership to the Luxury Restaurant Club for use in the UK at over 500 prestigious restaurants nationwide (worth £105).
British-resident owners of a foreign property are a large, yet unconnected, group leading busy lives who would rather not worry about how external affairs might impact enjoyment of their foreign property.
So AIPO representation works in two ways;
1. We will keep you abridged of issues arising that might impact you in the country you own a property and, where appropriate, lobby on your behalf for remedy.
We do need your tacit endorsement to do this work for you, so please become a member of the Alliance - its free of charge and without obligation in our beta launch phase.
2. We will occasionally send short online survey's to our registered members, to better understand your needs. We will then collate and share your thoughts for potential action, on your behalf. If there are significant issues at hand, perhaps caused by BREXIT, for example, we could channel your collective thoughts to the UK & EU governments.
If required, we might also seek to crowdfund from members to raise a budget to support a legal challenge on your behalf. Without the Alliance to give a focal point to share the cost for such activity amongst owners, this would be unlikely to happen.
4. Community Hub
Share questions, tips, stories & ideas with fellow buyers & owners through our blog and social media channels and receive the 'wisdom of the crowd' to help guide & inspire you.
Also pose questions to expert professionals in the industry - AIPP trade members - and get all the information you need to make informed choices.
